CDPC

Canada Dental Care Plan

The Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a new federal program that helps cover dental care for Canadians who don’t have private insurance. It’s designed to make preventive and basic dental services more accessible and affordable.

Who Qualifies?

The CDCP is being rolled out in phases. Eligibility depends on age and household income:

Seniors (65+) can already apply.

Adults with disabilities and children under 18 are next.

All other Canadian residents without private dental insurance will be phased in.

Eligibility is based on income — households under $90,000 may qualify, with the highest coverage for those under $70,000.
